Innovation comes from outer Space

Riceviamo dal NanotechItaly 2015 e volentieri pubblichiamo:

The session “Aerospace Related Applications”, in the context of the international conference “NanotechITALY2015”,  will devote special attention to technology transfer.
Space technology is known to improve the quality of life for everyone around the world. Highly innovative products based on it are widespread and used in everyday life; and the technology transfer is increasingly affecting almost all industry sectors. Successfully transferring space technologies to non-space sectors for applications is certainly a challenging and complicated operation; but it is feasible, by means of adequate investment especially in the long-term. This topic will be dealt with in the session “Aerospace Related Applications” which will be held on Wednesday 25th November 2015 at 1.45 PM (hall 215) in the context of the international conference “NanotechITALY2015”, Bologna, 25-27 November, Convention Center (via Gobetti, 101) inside the CNR Research Area Campus. Among the speakers: Pierluigi Bellutti, Fondazione Bruno Kessler; Laurent Marchand, European Space Research and Technology Centre, European Space Agency (ESTEC); and Nicola Pugno, University of Trento, Fondazione Bruno Kessler and also scientific and technical committee member of the Italian Space Agency (ASI).
